Did You Know . . .

.....that when in Internet Explorer you can use the spacebar to scroll? You could use Page Up, Page Down, or even the mouse, but an easy way is just to use the spacebar. Pressing the Spacebar scrolls down a page. To scroll up a page, press Shift+Spacebar.

.....that if you lose your mouse, you can still get to the start menu? Press one of the Window keys [those strange keys with the Windows logo] on your keyboard and the start menu will pop up. [There should be a Window key located on either side of the spacebar.] From there you can navigate with your cursor keys. The small T shape configuration area with arrows on the keys are your cursor movement keys. If you don 't have a keyboard with Windows keys, press Ctrl+Esc.

.....that there are other uses for those Windows keys? If you want to check the System Properties you can press a Windows key and the PAUSE key together. Doing so will bring up the System Properties box.

.....that Windows ME and 2000 show you only the most recently used programs in the Start|Program Menu? To change this click Start, Settings, and Taskbar And Start Menu. Click the Use Personalized Menus checkbox to deselect and disable Personalized Menus. Reverse the procedure if you want to go back to this shortened list.
